UNIT 01 · LESSON 2
I, you, and everyone else
Meet the people in your sentences.
By the end of this lessonChoose a subject pronoun for each person.
The idea
Start with ez (I), tu (you, one person), ew (he / she / it), em (we), hûn (you, more than one person), and ew (they). Context and the verb distinguish the two uses of ew.
See it in a sentence
ez → ITalking about yourself
tu → youTalking to one person
em → weIncluding yourself in a group
hûn → youTalking to a group
Ew does not distinguish “he” from “she” in this subject form. You may also see hun for hûn.
