UNIT 04 · LESSON 11
More than one
Talk about more than one thing.
By the end of this lessonUse the ezafe to say “my books” or “your hands”.
The idea
In the definite plural, the ezafe link is -ên for every noun, no matter its gender. This is different from the singular, where feminine nouns take -a and masculine nouns take -ê.
See it in a sentence
kitêbên minmy books
kitêbên teyour books
destên minmy hands
destên meour hands
Compare kitêba min (my book, singular) with kitêbên min (my books, plural). The link changes; min still means “my”.
