The idea
Colors in Kurmanji follow the noun using the ezafe link: kitêba sor (the red book), hespê reş (the black horse), sêvên kesk (green apples). Key colors: sor (red), şîn (blue), kesk (green), zer (yellow), spî (white), reş (black). Common adjectives: mezin (big), piçûk (small), nû (new), rind / xweşik (beautiful).

Just like with possessives, feminine singular takes -a (sêva sor), masculine singular takes -ê (çavê reş), and plural takes -ên (gulên sor).
